A quick hello…

I always hate writing introductions…it can sometimes feel forced or awkward because you’re trying too hard to make a good lasting impression.

I struggled writing introductions to papers in university, even in my current job role when I’m asked to do research the intro continues to cause me writers block. When writing an essay/proposal everyone knows that you’re meant to write the middle and end first..the JUICY bit….and then the intro RIGHT? Always focus on the primary purpose of your content? Which is what I hope to achieve.

An introduction can be a make or break situation…so if your still hanging on in there reading my ramblings I commend you!

So what about me…who am I? Why have I started a blog when there are so many other probably better blogs out there…well for starters I like to write…I find it slightly therapeutic.

Secondly, I love fitness and healthy eating, so I felt like it was about time I shared my favourite recipes and workouts.

Thirdly, to try and help people who struggle balancing their full time job and health.

Fourthly, to explain and share my journey from overweight to the fittest version of myself that I have ever been; how I balance work with training; and what I eat on a day-to-day basis.
